Maek Friends*

 

Maek Friends is  a member based ceramics studio located in Ocean Beach, San Diego. This space is designed to give people an outlet for creativity while fostering community and care for one another. Friends* simply provides the resources needed to take part in this timeless craft!

Monthly memberships include:

- 24 hours in the studio

- Manufactured + pugged clay available in house (you can bring your own cone 5 clay upon managers approval)

- Electric kiln - Cone 5/6

- 10 wheels

- 3 hand building stations  

- 3 glazing stations - 4 rotating buckets of glazes ( can bring your own cone 5 glaze upon managers approval)

- All the tools needed to make nice pots (This is not a production studio.)

- Community events

- Master classes with special guests

- Online portal to reserve workspace and amenities for guaranteed studio time

- Classroom style hours, where beginners can come learn and ask questions
